CLAT 2023 Eligibility and Education Qualification

Under Graduate in LAW - LLB

  • Education Qualification - Candidates must secure minimum 45% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination. 40% marks for ST/SC category candidates. The candidate who appearing in March/ April 2023 are eligible to appear in CLAT 2023.

  • Age limit - There is no upper age limit for CLAT 2023

Post Graduate in LAW - LLB
  • Education Qualification - Candidate should have LLB Degree or equivalent with minimum 50% marks for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and 45% marks for ST/SC categories.
  • Age limit - There is no upper age limit for appearing for the CLAT 2023.

CLAT 2023 UG Exam Syllabus

UG CLAT 2023 Exam will be focus on evaluating the comprehension and reasoning skill and ability of candidates overall it is designed to be a test of aptitude and skill that are necessary for legal education. The exam paper will be divided in 5 Subject.

English Language - Questions will be asked from 450 Word paragraph so candidate need to focus on reading ability and English Crammer.

Current Affairs Including General Knowledge - The questions will be asked from 450 Word passages of News, Journalistic source and other non fiction writing. candidate should focus on reading and understanding skill.

Legal Reasoning - The questions will be asked from 450 Word passages of legal matters, public policy, moral philosophical enquirers.

Logical Reasoning - The questions will be asked from 300 Word passages of Recognize an argument, Read and identify the arguments set, Critically analyse patterns of reasoning, Draw relationships and analogies and Inferences to new situations in passage.

Quantitative Techniques - This section facts or propositions, graphs, or other textual, pictorial or diagrammatic representations of numerical information. Apply various 10th standard mathematical operations, Derive, infer and manipulate numerical information set out in such passages.

CLAT Syllabus 2023 for PG - The paper will be based on the mandatory subjects of the LLB topic as Constitutional Law, Law of Contract, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Torts, Family Law, Property Law, Criminal Law, Company Law, Tax Law, Public International Law, Environmental Law and Labour & Industrial Law.

Objective Section - Questions will be asked from passage. Each passage will be followed by a series of questions. Read important judgments, Important constitutional and legislative provisions, historical case law and amendments.

  • The date of examination is scheduled on 18th December, 2022 from 2 PM to 4 PM

How to Apply Online CLAT 2023 Application form

The online enrollment for CLAT 2023 can be submit through between 08 August 2022 and 13 November 2022. Before starting apply online CLAT 2023 read full notification on CLAT official website.

Candidates are required to register on CLAT 2023 website using mobile number and email id. After successfully register the candidate will get an OTP on registered number for validation. Once the validation complete the candidate will get mobile number and password.

Now login and CLAT 2023 Chose UG/PG program and fill the from carefully. The name of candidate and parent should be spelt correctly.

Upload passport size photograph, Signature, Category and other relevant documents scan copy.
